Last year, during the pandemic, I had the opportunity to meet a lovely bride for the first time.

I walked in, and shared with her that I heard this perfect wedding song on my way to her house. As I shared it with her, she shared how disappointed she was that, because of all the restrictions the government had put in place, the venue  didn’t allow dancing at the reception.

She asked me to send it to her anyway. I finished her bridal hair and wished her well for her day. 
‍
The very next day, I received a message, along with a video. She began telling me that when they arrived at the venue the owner had planned a big surprise and allowed them to have their first dance together.
‍
The owner asked if they had a special song that meant something to them. They looked at each other and then the bride said “we don’t”, but my hairdresser and I do. 
‍
When she looks back at her video, we will be forever bonded because of that song.

I feel truly blessed for all the beautiful paths I’ve crossed throughout my career as a bridal hair specialist.
